Dear Friends:

Welcome to the Annual Loudoun County Fair Livestock Auction. This is your invitation to our Livestock Auction. The Livestock Sale will be held at the Loudoun County Fairgrounds on Friday, July 26th, at 6:00 pm. The fair officially opens on July 23rd through July 27th. Please attend early to enjoy this annual community event, tour the barns, view the exhibits, and pre-select your purchase and visit with 4-Hers.

The Livestock Sale Committee is pleased to announce that the Bidder’s BBQ will be hosted at the Loudoun County Fairgrounds, and catered by Smokin’ Willy, on Friday, July 26th. Dinner will be available from 4:30-6:00 pm and will be held in the downstairs dining area of Sykes Hall.

Enclosed in your official Bidder’s packet is the following:

  1. Bidder’s Number

  1. Fair Entry Tickets – These will also serve as your admission ticket to the BBQ

  1. Bidder’s Information Sheet

  1. Processor availability and cost breakdown

  1. Parking Pass – space is limited in Bidder Parking so please arrive early.

In closing, we ask that you please pay for your purchase before leaving the sale. This will allow us to distribute the proceeds to the 4-Hers and process the sale in a timely fashion. Credit card purchases are available; however, an administrative fee will be added to the buyer’s invoice. It is also imperative that you contact your processor within 3 days of the auction. Auction personnel will do their best to ensure appropriate contact has occurred. If within 30 days, a buyer has not contacted the processor they chose, the processor may retain the meat for re-sale or donation, and to otherwise cover their processing expenses.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. You may contact Carly Campbell via email or cell, carlyjc@vt.edu or 571-258-8175.

Thank you again for your loyalty and contributions to the youth of Loudoun County. We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, July 26th, at 4:30 pm.

See you at the fair!
