THE CATALOG WILL BE POSTED A WEEK BEFORE THE AUCTION WITH PICTURES OF THE LIVESTOCK PROJECTS AND VIDEOS OF THE 4-H PARTICIPANTS SHOWING THEIR ANIMALS. NO ANIMALS WILL BE HOUSED AT THE LOUDOUN COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.
This auction will be conducted as a live-cry auction by our auctioneers, but all the bidding will occur through the Damewood Auctioneers bidding application on your computer, tablet, or smart phone. If you lack an internet connection, but still want to participate in this auction, we will provide a phone number to call closer to the auction to leave an absentee bid.
Because of the nature of the bidding platform being designed for real estate, equipment, and antique auctions, we will be unable to sell these animals by the pound using 25-cent and 50-cent bids. All lots will be sold by the head. That means, the animal will be sold for a flat price, not a price per pound.

All of these animals are offered to the highest bidder at live auction through virtual bidding. No animals will be housed at the fairgrounds for inspection or viewing prior to the auction.
R. Craig Damewood Auctioneer LLC(Auctioneer) is selling these animals on behalf of the various Loudoun County Fair 4-H Clubs. Any and all bids placed through the bidding application are final, and will serve a binding contract between the bidder and the 4-H member to purchase the lot/animal. Auctioneer will not retract or cancel bids for bidders.
Buyers must pay for the animal IN FULL between 8AM and Noon on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Loudoun County Fairgrounds, 17558 Dry Mill Road, Leesburg,VA 20175.
All payments must be in the form of cash or good personal/business check payable to "LOUDOUN COUNTY FAIR" , credit cards are not accepted. This auction sale is entirely tax exempt with no buyers premium.
Buyers need to be prepared to select a meat processor at the time of payment, and processing fees will be in addition to the price of the animal. Transportation will be covered by the Loudoun County Fair at no additional cost.
For any and all animals which will not be processed for meat, the buyer must arrange for transportation with the individual seller regardless of species as these will not be housed at the fair.
