AUCTION TERMS, CONDITIONS AND DISCLAIMERS - READ BEFORE BIDDING

New Customers Only: The credit card that you use at registration will have a credit check performed for $49 which will show up as a pending charge from Damewood Auctioneers, and will drop off after several days. Damewood Auctioneers does not hold or keep this money.

R. Craig Damewood, Auctioneer LLC (Auctioneer) offers all lots, items and merchandise sold "As-Is, Where-Is" with no warranties or guarantees either expressed, or implied. Descriptions are believed to be accurate, and when Auctioneer has knowledge of a defect, it will be disclosed. Auctioneer cannot be responsible for hidden, unknown defects, including wood scratches, cuts, broken furniture, stains on unseen parts of upholstery and carpets, rust, dents or mechanical defects. You, the bidder/buyer must make your own decision to the fitness and condition of any item or lot and bid accordingly. Bidders are advised to attend the auction preview, or call Auctioneer for a condition report prior to bidding if they can not attend the preview. All Sales are Final. No Return or Exchanges. No Refunds.

Preview

You may preview the inventory on Saturday, June 5th from 9AM-Noon, and Thursday, June 10th from 3-6PM at Belle Grey Farm in Upperville, VA. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Buyers, and their associates, must practice social distancing while on the property and wear face coverings, according to state health guidelines.

Buyer’s Premium & Fees

All Buyers will be assessed an 13% Buyer's Premium, with a 3% discount for all cash and check purchases. All purchases will be assessed a 6% Virginia State Sales Tax unless Buyer presents Auctioneer with a valid Virginia sales tax exemption at the time of payment. All sales are final with no returns, exchanges, or refunds of any kind. By paying Auctioneer with a credit card, Buyers waive their right to issue a charge-back against Auctioneer.

All Bids Are Final

All bids recognized by the Auctioneer, the Auctioneers bidding app are final and constitute a binding contract to purchase between the buyer and the seller. Auctioneer cannot, and will not, remove bids on behalf of bidders. Make sure you are bidding on the item you intend to bid on before pressing the bid button.

Transport available on jumps at the expense of purchaser. Auctioneer will arrange shipping on smaller items for $5 per lot ($10 min. per customer). Buyer will pay ground shipping rate, packing material, and insurance. All these items will be passed through by Auctioneer to Buyer.

Removal & Payment

Pick-Up & Payment: Saturday June 12, 2021 and from 8AM-3PM at Belle Grey Farm, 21440 Belle Grey Lane, Upperville, VA 20184 (Located off Piney Swamp Road).Payment by cash, check, bank wire, or credit card. 3% discount for cash, check or wire.  Unless Buyer receives prior written/email consent from Auctioneer, ALL BUYERS WHO DO NOT PAY BEFORE OR DURING THIS PICK UP TIME WILL HAVE THEIR CREDIT CARD CHARGED FOR THE FULL AMOUNT DUE. AUCTIONEER AND SELLER ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO ASSIST BUYERS IN MOVING THEIR PURCHASES. If you require transports on moving of items, call Auctioneer for a list of vendors. Buyers assume all responsibility to any damage made to the property during removal. Buyer agrees to hold Auctioneer and Seller harmless for damages to all items left at auction site after the pick-up date above.
